60% Grenache (Vineyard planted between 1891 and 1920)
Rolled “galet” stones on top of clay and sandy soil. Hillside vineyard, situated on the block “Cabrieres” on the north side of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Manually harvested, hand-selected grapes and individually selected berries, destemmed. 20-25 fermentation and maceration days. Aged in vat first, second in oak “foudres” from June to the bottling 2 – 3 years following.
Extent of Vineyard :
15 ha (small portion of which contains white grapes).
